I’m an American independent filmmaker, translator and copywriter living in Berlin. I majored in Latin and Ancient Greek at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor before dropping out of the PhD program in Classics at Stanford University with a master’s. I still read Latin or Greek every day and now have started to work part-time on writing my PhD thesis at Humboldt University in Berlin, but have fallen out of touch with other classicists. In this blog, I’ll discuss what I’m reading lately and hopefully get in touch with some other people who are interested in this notoriously obscure but fascinating subject.
